Where do we start?
At Don’s Building Center, we will work closely with you on your design and building projects every step of the way from initial concept to completion. You bring us your vision, and we’ll turn it into a reality. Ready to get your next project started? Contact us today and see what we can do for you!
Initial consultation
Give us a call or stop by one of our showrooms. One of our staff will ask general questions about your project and take down your information. Then, one of our designers will call you and set up an appointment to come to your home.
In home visit and information gathering
When we come to your home, we’ll measure and take photos. We’ll gather more detailed information from you about your project. We’ll ask questions about your style, material choices, and color scheme.
Design development
We head back to the office and begin designing your new space. Your goals, style, and budget are all take into account as we develop your detailed custom plans and get estimates on materials.
Design presentation
We’ll make an appointment for you to come back into our office where we will present you with the design plan and pricing for your review. We’ll answer your questions, make revisions to the plan as needed, and get revised bids when necessary.
Contract signing, project planning, and ordering
Once you are happy with your design plan, we’ll do the necessary paperwork and collect a down payment. Final measurements will be made, appliance specifications verified, and products will be ordered.
Installation
It’s the BIG day! Your cabinets arrive and installation begins. Once cabinets are set, countertop measurements are taken. Countertop install will happen shortly thereafter. Your plumber and electrician will be finishing up. Soon you will be enjoying your new space!
